Rowing is the oldest intercollegiate sport in the United States, and American teams compete with teams from all over the world. Generally, participants with less than one year experience are considered novices.

Get Recruited for College Rowing
Read our pages about recruitment and coaches. Remember our advice: write down everything: name of coach, date, contact information, follow-up information. etc. MOST OF ALL, accept NOTHING as gospel unless you have it in writing! The coach could giving the same routine, with the same promises to fifty other high school athletes, in this case, rowers.
